Recomendar folk es un poco difícil y mucho más si proviene de un netlabel, porque aunque a mi parecer es un género extremadamente sincero y austero (en el mejor sentido de la palabra), esta misma simpleza a muchos no apasiona, podría llegar a decir que incluso les aburre. Pero dejar pasar por alto discos de este calibre que podrían estar en los anaqueles de cualquier tienda de discos bajo sellos como drag city o thrill jockey, sería casi como un crimen.
Un ep bien confeccionado con temas melancólicos, un poco de microsampling, secuencias y una voz arrolladora que hace que me siente en el borde de mi asiento a esperar ese futuro disco prometido que, si es la mitad de bueno que este ep solo cabría decir: Válgame Dios.

Like Jackson Pollock is a sweet song with a Folk movement that retraces the aesthetic of the 60s and 70s.
